Another fire season has come to a close for us here in the PacNW. If you have been following along on our social media platforms, you are probably already aware that our strategic partner, Remote Access Medical, identified a need over the last few months to assist fire crews in the acquisition of tourniquets and provide them with emergency hemorrhage-control training. As a result of our partnership, West Coast Rescue donated more than 50 tourniquets this season.

Even though we are no longer on the fire line, the work hasn’t stopped. Currently, in order to further benefit first responders during wildfire season, WCR is purchasing supplies to build quality CCKs, or Compact Crew Kits. We hope to distribute these, along with additional tourniquets, next season. Your continued support makes this possible.
